I decided to interview my sister on Herpes. She has not got it herself but she knows several people who have. She has told me that some of them started off looking like cold sores then just kept appearing and disappeared then they got checked. She said that most of the people she knows with the disease were men she counted about 6 men and 2 women have it. It might just be that the she knows more men so she knows more men than women with herpes but i found it odd that there is a 3:1 ration on herpes from men to women. I asked her on he thoughts on how to prevent such a common disease and her response was “Before doing anything with a person try to know them well and for long and if it seems like there are any symptoms of this disease ask them about it or to get tested.”

A thing i might add about herpes is that i believe there is a vaccine for it now. I am not sure what it was but i went to the doctor yesterday and got some sort of vaccine that was for herpes. I am not sure if it was actually this but i remember herpes being brought up a lot. The vaccine for herpes has been ongoing to make an effective vaccine since as of now it is still a disease that cannot be eradicated from the body.
